It is a very comforable self propelled wheelchair that is well suited to full time use, thanks to its comfortable padded upholstery, puncture proof tyres and a half folding backrest that enables the wheelchair to be folded into a compact transportable size.

At under 15 KGs in weight the Whirl wheelchair is relatively lightweight for a wheelchair with a steel folding frame. Each side of the seat there are plastic guards to prevent clothing from coming in to contact with the wheels.
