Esteem Bariatric Self Propelled Wheelchair

The Esteem heavy duty bariatric self propelled wheelchair is very well made and sturdy thanks to its double cross braced frame and reinforced welded joints. Available in 4 seat widths and supporting users up to 317kgs (seat width dependent) this heavy duty wheelchair has been built to with durability in mind.

The ergonomic armrests are height adjustable and slide forward to provide better support and comfort. The leg rests swing away and are height adjustable  and come with calf straps.The wheelchair upholstery is easy to clean nylon. The side cover panels prevent things getting snagged in the rear wheels. There are attendant brakes fitted help slowing and stoping.

The rear wheels and front castors have solid tyres to prevent puncture. The rear wheels are quick release, come with parking brakes and have aluminium hand rims. These heavy duty wheelchairs fold easily making it easier to transport and store taking only 11" width when folded (20" or 22") or 13.5" (24" or 26"). Finally, the super strong steel frame comes with a one year warranty.

Please note that Anti-Tip Wheels are not fitted as standard. If you select them as an optional extra you will need to be fit them yourself.
